Barong Dance is a popular attraction for the evening over a drink or maybe a meal, you can not leave Bali without seeing this sight. Ubud with its famous monkey forest, is a shoppers paradise, you can purchase local arts and crafts, see some of the fabulous art galleries and craft centres or take in the local scenery with its rice terraces, temples and rainforest. For the more adventurous there is the trekking to the summit of Mt Batukaru and extinct volcano, white water rafting on the Ayung River. |
It is also possible to take an off road Jeep Safari through the north western region to watch the sunset from the Tanah Lot temple, built on a huge rock outcrop in the sea.There are certainly plenty of opportunities for the keen photographer to get some stunning pictures.
