Krabi one hours flight south of Bangkok has some of Thailands most spectacular beaches, there is plenty to do here from trekking through the forests, kayaking through caves, taking a long tale boat to outlying islands, exploring stilted fishing villages or just simply chilling out on the fantastic beaches.

Koh Samui has a very laid back feel with something for everyone, Koh Samui has opposite monsoon seasons to Phuket and is often dry and sunny when Phuket is wet during summer months, and vice versa. The most popular, and best, beaches are at Chaweng and Lamai, both perfect for children, while Maenam Beach has deeper waters. Hua Hin and Cha -Am on the mainland of Thailand and the choice of the Thai Royal Family is just three hours from Bangkok by road. Long white beaches, excellent golf courses and a good choice of hotels make this a good choice for a beach holiday and an excellent combination with Bangkok or Chaing Mai and Chiang Rai.
