Collapse of XL Leisure Group

XL Leisure Group placed in administration.

Following a failed refinancing bid, the XL Leisure Group plc has appointed administrators on 12th September 2008. The group comprises a number of operators as follows:

Freedom Flights Limited
Freedom Flights (Aviation) Limited
The Really Great Holiday Company plc

Imperial Tours Limited would like to reasure our customers that any bookings made through us for XL Leisure Group companies are completely protected under Travel Trust Association rules. We will be contacting any customers affected to make alternative holiday arrangements.

For affected travellers that are not currently customers of Imperial Tours Ltd we would be delighted to assist in sourcing alternative travel facilities. Where holidays have been booked through one of the ATOL registered companies we may be able to source you an alternative holiday without the need for you to pay again. This is done through a deed of assignment.

We can offer fully protected holidays to practically any destination and all of the Tour Operators that we deal with are fully bonded for your peace of mind.

Many holidays booked with XL Travel Group companies are protected by an ATOL licence and we suggest that you refer to the CAA wesite regarding claims at the following address http://www.caa.co.uk/xlleisuregroup/.
For travel arrangements that are not protected by an ATOL license you may still be able to reclaim any money lost from your credit card company.
